Beginner Overnighter from Campfire Cycling to Catalina State Park

We’ll be leaving Campfire Cycling at around noon for a 17 mile ride up the loop to Catalina State Park. We’ll be staying at a group campground with room for 20 tents. There is a $15 fee per tent.  (Only One RSVP/Signup is necessary per tent. In other words if two or three people are sharing a tent, only one of you needs to signup)

Be prepared for cool to cold weather at night. As it is a beginner campout, we’ll likely cancel if there is rain.

While this is a beginner oriented bike campout, all are welcome. I’m sure all of the newbies will appreciate having experienced campers along for the ride.  Wednesday, January 8th, we’ll be hosting a meetup at the shop to go over bike camping setups focused around beginners.  If this is your first bike campout, we strongly recommend you pack up your bike for the trip and bring it to the meetup so we can checkout your setup and make any recommendation.

This will be a no drop ride. Please be prepared with all of your own camping gear, food and water. There are bathroom facilities and water available at Catalina State Park.
