Moroccan globetrotter and disabled cyclist, Driss Kadiri arrived to the USA on the last leg of his 11-year bicycle trip around the world.
Born with clubfoot and victim of a serious poliomyelitis at an early age, Kadiri underwent several surgical operations that do not alter his will of making a world tour as a challenge that he needed to fulfil.
After an American journey, he will fly back to Morocco where he plans to write volume two of his photo-illustrated diary and a children’s text in bound print, audio-visual format and on the Internet. The works will follow “Song,” a published travelogue named for a blind Vietnamese girl who befriended him.
