The full-width roll closure allows fast access and keeps water and dust outside. The end mounted straps with Fastex buckles enable you to combine the Rack-Pack medium with the ORTLIEB Back-Rollers or Front-Rollers. Using the Rack-Pack in combination with a set of panniers is a great way to expand your gear carrying capacity.

The ORTLIEB Rack-Pack is a classic piece of luggage. It’s a universal holdall bag that has proved it’s versatility on every continent. The full-width roll closure allows fast access and keeps water and dust outside.

The end mounted straps with Fastex buckles enable you to combine the Rack-Pack with the ORTLIEB Back-Rollers or Front-Rollers. Using the Rack-Pack in combination with a set of panniers is a great way to expand your gear carrying capacity.

  • “Classic” – Polyester, PVC Coated – PD620
    • Highly rated tear and abrasion resistance.
    • Use of high frequency welding to meet the highest of waterproofing specifications.
    • Used on the colored panels.
    • As compared to the “Plus” fabric, this fabric is stiffer with a glossier outer finish.
    • Cleans off very easily.
    • Highly durable, pvc waterproof inner and outer layers.
  • Roll-Top Closure
    • Simple, effective and highly versatile means of protecting contents against dust and spray water from all directions.
    • The roll closure gains it’s stability and waterproof quality from the thin plastic stiffener bars sewn into the upper end of the material.
    • Height or volume of packed bags can also be reduced by rolling up the material further.
  • Dust & Water Proofness Rating: IP 64
    • 6 = Dust proof, no penetration of dust..
    • 4 = Protected against splash water coming from all directions.
  • Removable, padded shoulder strap with snap hook.
    • Variable packing volume thanks to compression straps and roll closure.
  • Easily accessible comfortable bag with wide opening.
  • Easy to clean inside.

    So good I bought a second one.

    We already owned one Rack Pack bag, which my wife attaches to her Ortlieb panniers, when we are out for multiple days and camping while riding. It proved so versatile that I bought one for my bike with the same pannier configuration. It holds a good amount of gear and has been especially useful when carrying longer items like our tent and tarp.

    Another functional and quality piece of Orlieb gear

    Ordering was a breeze, delivery was fast and I live in the Northeast, just short of the Canadian border. We just took this bag on a bike trip and it sat perfectly on the Ortlieb panniers that we use on our back racks. We ordered the small and I am really glad we did, it was more than enough space the the items we wanted access to during the day without removing the panniers. In fact my two person Tarptent fits into the bag without any problem and there is more than enough room for more gear, tools, etc. The Rack Bag buckles to the top buckle on the panniers and despite some bumpy/washboard dirt road travel, it stayed in place without any problem. No need to strap it to the rack if you use Ortlieb panniers. I am so impressed, I think I will add another to our inventory to use on my bike.

    Great online store experience

    Great online store experience‼️I really like you guys knowledge the bag itself the ortlieb rack pack is awesome that only can use it for the bike but it can be a duffel bag or anything‼️👍👍 Thanks for the experience definitely will chat with you again the bag is so easy to use my six-year-old can use it and operated thanks youssss.     Just what I was looking for.
