For use with bike cargo trailers, we recommend storing heavy items such as water up at the front and bottom of the trailer. Empty, the Ortlieb Water Bag is extremely light and takes up hardly any space in your bike trailer or bike panniers. Food grade coating on the inside ensures safe transport of your water. The Ortlieb Water Bag may also be used with the Ortlieb Shower Valve for trail side showers.
