Overview
Barlow Pass is a 4,155-foot mountain pass in the Cascades in Oregon, near the ghost town of Monte Cristo and one of the major milestones of the Barlow Road. The Renee Herse Barlow Pass is at that sweet spot in tire sizing for bikepacking where you get a tire that is light enough so your bike retains the nimble feel of a road bike, yet plenty wide to give you amazing traction on pavement and off.
The Barlow Pass TC is only available in the 700c x 38 (38-622) size and at that width, is a true all-road tire. You have the choice of two casings: the Standard casing strikes a balance between affordability, comfort and speed without compromising on durability, offering extra protection against sidewall cuts on sharp rocks. The Extralight casing on the other hand takes the performance, comfort and feel of your bike to an entirely new level.
Go anywhere with the Barlow Pass under you, these are the perfect tire for rides that combine equal portions of pavement and gravel and can still hold their own for the occassional offroad adventure.
