Set-up for one of my bikes necessitates an 8-10L bag of some type. I selected a set of the 9L pretty heavy duty Salsa Dry Bags. In part to split the difference in size and in part to eliminate the need for a second set. I could have opted for a thinner, but larger (and presumably less expensive) set yet am pleased with this decision. To date they have been utilized a total of seven days in dry, dusty and often warm conditions. Primarily they have been utilized as rear side-rack type storage but recently as a smaller substitute for a much larger rear-saddle insert. While I did struggle somewhat getting it to fit properly into the trunk as it’s much thicker (more durable) than the off-the-shelf trunk insert it worked great and saved on some bunched up folding. A successful experiment. Overall a solid purchase.
