Overview
Styled after old French racks, the Velo Orange Constructeur is a minimalist stainless steel rear rack. It is perfect for small parcels, trunk bags, and supporting large saddlebags.
The rack itself is strong enough to hold much more weight. The trick will be fitting your cargo on the streamlined profile. There are cam strap/bungee cord loops at the bottom of the rack to help keep your gear in place.
This rack is best used for most light duty errands and around town cycling, but can be used for the occasional overnight trip. We recommend only using smaller front panniers if you do go on tour with these racks.
