In Portland, Oregon, a bicycle delivery business called B-Line is helping to solve a local hunger problem using bicycles. In the United States, there is often a great deal of food surplus that ends up in landfills instead of on the plates of hungry people. However, food banks often don’t have the time or resources to collect any of this food. Therefore, B-Line is stepping in as the middle man to find the surplus food and deliver it to people who need it, all the while doing so in a carbon-free way!
