In the Malmo, Sweden, there is an ongoing campaign to try to get more people to give up the car in favor of a bicycle, especially for shorter trips. There are many such campaigns going on around the world, which is certainly a step in the right direction. In Sweden however, I especially like their approach. They are asking people to give up “ridiculous” car trips, which are considered to be very short car trips. I like the use of the word ridiculous. It’s not too harsh, but points out the absurdity of very short car trips. What do you think?Via Velo Mondial.
