I frequently post and review short films from Streetfilms here at Utility Cycling. So you can imagine my excitement when I learned this week via Cyclelicio.us that they are coming out with Streetfilms The Movie in 2013! According to the website:
Streetfilms The Movie (coming in 2013) is a feature-length film that follows people who are making street-level changes in their communities and scaling back their dependence on cars. Streetfilms The Movie will bring you behind the scenes, introducing the champions of this emerging global movement that advocates health, safety, and community.
Streetfilms is a powerful tool for learning and sharing livable streets experiences, and one which is very much in line with our views here at Utility Cycling. I am donating as soon as I finish this post, and additional donations would no doubt improve the final product! In the meantime, check out the trailer below.
