We’ve figured out the logistics, updated the calendar and we’re ready to get you stoked to join us for some southern Arizona adventures.
Feb. 14th to 16th:
Advanced 2 Nighter – Black Canyon Trail
We’re really excited for a new to us route and to get our “Spring” bikepacking season rolling. We’ll be heading up toward Phoenix to ride Devin Balet’s Black Canyon Trail. It’s 76 miles and 4,858′ feet of climbing (and descending) into pure joy. This will hopefully be one of our mellower advanced trips (lord knows I need it at this point) This is a one way trip with some shuttling so even though we’ll be doing shorter days on either end, there will be some travel time.

March 15th to 16th: Colossal Cave Overnighter

We are excited this year to be offering three versions in one of this ride. This is our first time doing a three in one and it should make for a good time for all!
Beginner Route – 18 miles
Intermediate Route – 32 miles
Advanced Route – 43 miles with AZT

April 12th to 13th:
Intermediate Overnighter to Buenos Aires
We’re headed back to the Buenos Aires National Wildlife Area! While we’ve done this as our November trip in the past, we’re giving it a go as our April trip. This trip does have some challenges to it (sandy loose terrain, 1 guaranteed water fill). We’ll call it intermediate level and not advisable as a first time bike-packing trip. The terrain is mostly gravel roads with some rough and sandy sections. We recommend a minimum of 50mm tires.
